Long Island alternative rock band Brand New may be breaking up in 2018, but something still rages inside them, as they proved to a huge crowd on Friday, Nov. 11 at the PPL Center in Allentown.

Following opening sets by Modern Baseball and The Front Bottoms, the latter featuring a setup that turned the arena into a living room, Brand New played a few songs, including a cover of “Sprained Ankle” by Julien Baker, before performing their third album, “The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me,” in its entirety.

“It is an important record and piece of work to us, and one that 10 years later we still use as a measuring post with which we compare the music we make now,” the band said on social media before the start of this 10-year anniversary tour.

Brand New planned to have a new album out by the end of the year, but in that same message, they noted that it would not be out until at least 2017 and that they still plan on disbanding in 2018, displaying the words “Brand New 2000-2018” in lights at the end of the show. Thankfully, we were able to capture some memories from this concert before that happens.
