Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge teams up with NEPA Scene every week for Shelter Sunday, a post that features dogs, cats, and occasionally some surprises up for adoption in the hopes of finding them a loving home.

Blue Chip Farm (974 Lockville Rd., Dallas) is a no-kill shelter, a place where no animal is too old or too unwanted to find a warm bed, good food and, most of all, love. Their mission is to provide a sanctuary where older, stray, abandoned, sick, or abused animals can wait to be adopted or simply live out their lives in safety and peace.

Visiting hours are Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from noon-5 p.m. Other hours are available by appointment. Call 570-333-5265 or visit bcfanimalrefuge.org for more information.

CJ

CJ is a 1-year-old beagle mix looking for a family to call his own.

This handsome boy is as sweet as can be, loving every person he meets. CJ gets along with other pups but needs a cat-free home. He still acts like a puppy at times, so he may do best with older children.

He loves to go for walks and cuddle up with his humans.

Stevie

Stevie is a 2-year-old orange tabby cat awaiting his forever home.

He likes other cats and enjoys being pet, but he is not a fan of being held.

Stevie loves watching birds from his cat tree and taking afternoon naps.

If you would like to adopt this good-looking guy, visit bcfanimalrefuge.org and fill out an application.
