From a press release:

It was announced today that gold and platinum-selling hard rock bands Halestorm and I Prevail will embark on a massive co-headlining tour this summer.

Produced by Live Nation, the national tour kicks off on July 9 in Raleigh, North Carolina and runs through Aug. 17 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Hollywood Undead and Fit for a King will serve as support, including their stop at The Pavilion at Montage Mountain (1000 Montage Mountain Rd., Scranton) on Wednesday, July 24 at 6 p.m.

Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday, March 8 at 10 a.m. via livenation.com. The venue pre-sale begins Wednesday, March 6 at noon using the code KEY.

“Freaks, we are so proud to announce that we are joining forces with I Prevail,” said Halestorm vocalist Lzzy Hale.

“This isn’t your typical summer tour. This is two worlds colliding under one haven for our collective armies. And bringing you a show unlike any we’ve done before! We have a lot of surprises in store, so get your tickets now for an experience none of us will forget!”

“We’re thrilled to join forces with Halestorm this summer,” added I Prevail co-vocalist Eric Vanlerberghe.

“Touring with Halestorm is long overdue, as we admire their talent, energy, and dedication to rock music, and are thrilled to finally see it happen. This is going to be one of the best tours of the summer and one of the best we’ve ever done.”

Halestorm has also partnered with mental health organization Sound Mind Live to engage fans to pledge support for free-to-the-community mental health programming across the country for fans and the broader community.

Having amassed over 2.5 billion streams globally, the Grammy Award-winning band from Red Lion, Pennsylvania has grown from a childhood dream of siblings Lzzy and Arejay Hale into one of the most celebrated rock acts of the last two decades.

Most recently, Halestorm released “Back from the Dead” in 2022, their fifth full-length studio album that has tallied over 100 million streams worldwide. Rolling Stone called the title track “a biting but cathartic howler about overcoming all obstacles,” and that song as well, as “The Steeple,” marked their fifth and sixth No. 1s on rock radio, respectively. Associated Press said the album “will definitely be in the running for best hard rock/metal album of the year.” Their previous album, 2018’s “Vicious,” earned their second Grammy nomination for Best Hard Rock Performance for the song “Uncomfortable,” the group’s fourth No. 1 on rock radio, and led Loudwire to name Halestorm “Rock Artist of the Decade” in 2019.

Fronted by the incomparable Lzzy Hale with drummer Arejay Hale, guitarist Joe Hottinger, and bassist Josh Smith, Halestorm’s music has earned multiple platinum and gold certifications from the RIAA, and the York County band has established a reputation as a powerful live music force, headlining sold-out shows, topping festival bills around the world, and sharing the stage with icons including Alice Cooper, Joan Jett, Judas Priest, and Heaven & Hell. Additionally, Lzzy was named the first female brand ambassador for Gibson and served as host of AXS TV’s “A Year in Music.”

Combining elements of hard rock, post-hardcore, metalcore, nu metal, pop punk, and more, I Prevail have become forerunners of heavy rock in the 21st century. Their latest studio album, 2022’s “True Power,” produced by Tyler Smyth (Falling in Reverse, Blessthefall, Dangerkids), features the sort of stadium-sized riffs that rattle teeth loose from the gums and unforgettable catchy melodies that will camp out in the brain for weeks at a time. The Michigan group also alternately mixes screamed vocals that sound as though they crawled from the depths of hell with soaring, emotional vocals and heartfelt, intimate lyrics that go so deep, they hit marrow. The end result is an album that resonates with listeners in the most personal way.

Rising to an arena level and receiving two Grammy nominations – Best Rock Album for 2019’s “Trauma” and Best Metal Performance for crushing lead single “Bow Down” – I Prevail proved that they are built to last. To date, they’ve racked up more than 4.1 billion global streams, are approaching 716 million YouTube views, and saw the singles “Hurricane” and “Bad Things” top Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart in 2020 and 2022, respectively. A number of singles and their 2016 debut album “Lifelines” have now been certified gold and platinum, and they have been praised by press far and wide, including Forbes, Billboard, The Hollywood Reporter, and NPR.

Formed in 2005, Hollywood Undead inched towards mainstream dominance under the radar with unprecedented success for a modern band. Preceding the current playlist-hopping genre-less boom, they defied stylistic boundaries from day one, integrating rap, rock, and electronic music. The Los Angeles quintet co-headlined last fall with hip-hop legend Tech N9ne in support of their eighth studio album, “Hotel Kalifornia.”

Fit for a King’s musical style is rooted in metal and hardcore and uplifted by hypnotic hooks. Following the 2013 breakout LP “Creation/Destruction,” they earned four consecutive Top 5 debuts on the Top Hard Rock Albums Chart with “Slave to Nothing” (2014), “Deathgrip” (2016), “Dark Skies” (2018), and “The Path” (2020). The latter marked their first Top 10 on the Billboard Top Album Sales chart. Plus, the band has collaborated with fellow heavy-hitters August Burns Red and We Came as Romans and toured with Pierce the Veil, I Prevail, The Devil Wears Prada, and Scranton’s own Motionless In White. They’ve generated nearly 435 million streams over the course of their career, and their latest album, 2022’s “The Hell We Create,” is out now via Solid State Records.
