From a press release:

With opening day just over 80 days away, the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders have announced their daily promotions for the 2020 season. The Yankees Triple-A affiliate begins their 2020 campaign at PNC Field in Moosic on Thursday, April 9 against the Buffalo Bisons with a 7:05 p.m. first pitch.

Geisinger Sunday Family Fundays start the week on the right note. Gates open at noon with an autograph session, presented in part by Allegiant. All Sunday games begin at 1:05 p.m. and, after the final out, children 12 and younger can run the bases. Select Sundays this season will also feature appearances and giveaways for the youngest fans.

Mondays this season will focus on the men and women who protect the United States, both now and in the past. Every Monday home game is a Military Monday. Members of the Armed Forces, active or retired, will receive one free ticket when they show their military identification card. In addition, all fans can purchase $1 walk-up lawn seats.

$2 Tuesdays return with $2 walk-up lawn seats, $2 Landshark Lagers, and a featured $2 concession special each week for two hours after gates open.

Waggin’ Wednesdays are back again. Bring four-legged canine friends to PNC Field for just $1 on Wednesday nights; that fee will be donated to local animal shelters. Each of the 10 mid-week games are also Pay It Forward Wednesdays, when portions of walk-up ticket sales are donated to local charities. The Dollar Dog promotion moves to Wednesdays in 2020. Get $1 Sabrett hot dogs all game long every Wednesday this season.

Everyone’s favorite game of the week, Thirsty Thursday, features $1 specials on Bud Light and Pepsi products for two hours after gates open. Friday nights will serve as the RailRiders top theme nights during the season and will be followed by fireworks during the summer months. Saturdays remain supreme with the best giveaways of the season.

The RailRiders will unveil their theme night plans and full giveaway schedule over the coming weeks.

Gates at PNC Field (235 Montage Mountain Rd., Moosic) open one hour before first pitch Sunday through Friday and 90 minutes prior to Saturday games. RailRiders season ticket holders will get access to the park 15 minutes before gates opening each day. In April and May, Monday through Friday games begin at 6:35 p.m., with the exception of opening day, while Saturday games will be played at 4:05 p.m. Starting in June, all weekday games will begin at 7:05 p.m., and Saturday contests will start at 6:35 p.m. All Sunday games are scheduled for 1:05 p.m. during the 2020 season.

In July, the RailRiders play host to the Keystone Mid Summer Classic. Festivities on Tuesday, July 14 are slated to begin at 4 p.m. for the Youth Skills Challenge, the Celebrity Softball Game, and the Triple-A Home Run Derby, presented by PNC Bank.

The Triple-A All-Star Game, presented by the Lackawanna County Visitors Bureau, will cap the week on Wednesday, July 15 with a 7:05 p.m. first pitch. The All-Star Game will be preceded by a fanfest courtesy of Zebra Pens.

All promotions and game times remain subject to change. The Thirsty Thursday promotion applies to each Thursday game except opening day.
