Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge teams up with NEPA Scene every week for Shelter Sunday, a post that features dogs, cats, and occasionally some surprises up for adoption in the hopes of finding them a loving home.

Blue Chip Farm (974 Lockville Rd., Dallas) is a no-kill shelter, a place where no animal is too old or too unwanted to find a warm bed, good food and, most of all, love. Their mission is to provide a sanctuary where older, stray, abandoned, sick, or abused animals can wait to be adopted or simply live out their lives in safety and peace.

Visiting hours are Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from noon-5 p.m. Other hours are available by appointment. Call 570-333-5265 or visit bcfanimalrefuge.org for more information.

Pete

Pete was found as a stray. Unfortunately, after much effort, his owners have not been located. We are now looking to find this puggle a new home.

We estimate that he is about 5 years old. He is a gentle, happy little guy who seems to like everyone. Come meet him today – we guarantee that you will fall in love!

Lexi

Lexi is only 1 year old and has semi-long hair. She’s a tiny girl at 6 pounds with beautiful, soulful eyes, a sense of adventure, and a good disposition.

Lexi is sweet and a little shy, but she warms up to you quickly. She would do best in a quiet home.

If you would like to adopt this pretty girl, please note that Lexi is in a foster home, not on the Blue Chip campus, so call 570-333-5265 ahead of time to arrange a meet and greet.
