Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band may be coming to Wilkes-Barre in June, but Texas rock band Ringo Deathstarr has already landed in the Diamond City, headlining another fantastic night of alternative indie rock at The Other Side on Saturday, April 9.
Two Northeastern Pennsylvania acts, psych shoegaze band The Stargazer Lilies and alt rockers Down to Six, opened the evening with the London-based Desert Mountain Tribe (which was the group’s first-ever show in the United States), crafting ambient soundscapes that enveloped the room as balloons hung from a net overhead, waiting to be dropped on the receptive crowd.
