Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge teams up with NEPA Scene every week for Shelter Sunday, a post that features dogs, cats, and occasionally some surprises up for adoption in the hopes of finding them a loving home.

Blue Chip Farm (974 Lockville Rd., Dallas) is a no-kill shelter, a place where no animal is too old or too unwanted to find a warm bed, good food and, most of all, love. Their mission is to provide a sanctuary where older, stray, abandoned, sick, or abused animals can wait to be adopted or simply live out their lives in safety and peace.

Visiting hours are Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from noon-5 p.m. Other hours are available by appointment. Call 570-333-5265 or visit bcfanimalrefuge.org for more information.

Bacon

Bacon needs a family!

This cute little guy is a 5-6-year-old miniature pinscher mix. He likes other dogs and children too; he hung out with the Duryea Junior Girl Scout Troop yesterday at Three Dog Bakery in Kingston to help them earn their Bronze Award and had a great time. He has never been around cats.

Bacon loves going for walks, cuddling, and treats. This min pin would make a perfect family pup!

Boo

Boo is a playful, funny 1-year-old cat who is always interested in what’s going on.

He is friendly, social and, most of all, loving. Boo is sweet and full of personality. He is fun-loving and enjoys the company of other cats.

This handsome young man is neutered and up-to-date on his shots and testing – now he just needs a home!

If you are interested in Boo, please note that he is living in a foster home, not on the Blue Chip campus, so call 570-333-5265 ahead of time to arrange a meet and greet.
