Opening up for Crobot on Friday, Aug. 22, Scranton’s Family Animals kicked things off at The Factory: Underground in Wilkes-Barre with a fun and funky set, including “Helicopter” (seen above) and “Space Monkey” (below). Performances by Dustin Douglas & The Electric Gentlemen and American Evil followed.
If there’s one festival in Scranton that’s guaranteed to be a hit each and every year, it’s La Festa Italiana. The 39th annual event was packed shoulder to shoulder around Courthouse Square as we took in the sights, smells, tastes, and sounds, which included a lively set by Ray Massa’s EuroRhythms from Columbus, Ohio.
The Menzingers’ guitarist/vocalist Greg Barnett stripped down “Where Your Heartache Exists” for the “Punk Goes Acoustic” series on Exclaim! TV, which can be viewed above.
