Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge teams up with NEPA Scene every week for Shelter Sunday, a post that features dogs, cats, and occasionally some surprises up for adoption in the hopes of finding them a loving home.

Blue Chip Farm (974 Lockville Rd., Dallas) is a no-kill shelter, a place where no animal is too old or too unwanted to find a warm bed, good food and, most of all, love. Their mission is to provide a sanctuary where older, stray, abandoned, sick, or abused animals can wait to be adopted or simply live out their lives in safety and peace.

Visiting hours are Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from noon-5 p.m. Other hours are available by appointment. Call 570-333-5265 or visit bcfanimalrefuge.org for more information.

Gracie

Gracie is an 8-month-old pit bull mix who really wants a home.

Dubbed a sweetheart and love bug by Blue Chip volunteers, Gracie is a good girl with plenty of puppy playfulness.

She is the sweetest little girl you could ever meet; she loves kids and other dogs.

Come visit this beauty and see if she’s a good fit for you and your family!

Jemma

Jemma is 2-year-old gray and white cat with stripes on her tail and a cute little spot on her nose.

She is sweet and a little shy at first. She likes the company of other cats but not dogs.

Jemma loves to be pet and to snuggle under her favorite blanket. She would do best in a quiet home.

If that sounds like your home, fill out an application at bcfanimalrefuge.org and call 570-333-5265 to arrange a meet and greet.
